As reported by my good self 5 days after the Referendum vote:  http://shaunynews.com/2014/09/23/ruth-davidson-tory-admits-vote-fraud-live-on-tv/ &  https://acenewsdesk.wordpress.com/2014/10/04/police-probe-claims-pro-uk-campaigners-took-illegal-postal-vote-tallies/

THIS IS HUGE IF TRUE! I seen this yesterday but I was also told Ruth was read her right by the police on Friday (can’t confirm)

POLICE have spoken to Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson in connection with alleged breaches of electoral law in the weeks before the independence referendum. They were asked to investigate after Ms Davidson said pro-union supporters at sample openings of ballot boxes took tallies of postal votes before the count. It is understood the Tory leader was spoken to yesterday as a witness and party sources say there is no suggestion of any wrongdoing on her part. A spokesman for the party said: “Ruth had arranged to speak to police in her office to help them with complaints they had received.”

Speaking on BBC Scotland after the polls closed on September 18, Ms Davidson told the Scotland Decides programme: “We have had people at every sample opening around the country over the last few weeks while that’s been coming in and we have been incredibly encouraged by the results from that. This story is expected to get bigger in the coming weeks

“Going into today, from the postal votes that were cast, our side would have had a lead and I think that we have a confidence, I hope a quiet confidence, that the quiet majority of Scots have spoken today.” She said postal votes were not counted until after the polls closed but added: “Different local authorities have had openings around the country. It is illegal to discuss that while any ballot is ongoing, so until 10 o’clock tonight no-one could talk about it. “But there is people in the room that have been sampling those ballot boxes as they have been opened and they have been taking tallies and the reports have been very positive for us.” Postal ballot openings are held to verify the ballots are genuine and that the signature and date of birth given along with the ballots match official records. The Scottish Independence Referendum Act 2013 states that ballots must be kept face down during the process and precautions must be taken to prevent anyone from seeing the votes cast.

Agents for the campaigns are allowed to attend but are bound by the Act not to “attempt to ascertain at the proceedings in connection with the receipt of the ballot papers the outcome for which any vote is given in any particular ballot paper or communicate any information with respect thereto obtained at those proceedings.”

Airline Boss: MH370 May Not Be In Indian Ocean

Emirates Airlines boss Sir Tim Clark tells a German magazine that the failure to find any debris raises a "degree of suspicion".

Emirates Airlines boss Sir Tim Clark tells a German magazine that the failure to find any debris raises a “degree of suspicion”.

In a World where we hear the word ‘Conspiracy’ and look the other way, we see here a ‘Conspiracy’ a great huge one at that. What happened to this plane? Where are the people? I have heard many theories but as yet we don’t know. For an Airline boss to say this is “Suspicious” tells us all we need to know

There have been plenty of conspiracy theories about what happened to missing jet MH370 but now the respected head of one of the world’s leading airlines says he believes the plane was not on autopilot at the end and may not even be in the Indian Ocean. Emirates Airlines boss Sir Tim Clark made the controversial comments in an interview with German magazine Der Spiegel. “MH370 was, in my opinion, under control, probably until the very end,” he said. His theory goes against current thinking that the aircraft was on autopilot until it ran out of fuel and crashed into the southern Indian Ocean. He added: “Our experience tells us that in water incidents, where the aircraft has gone down, there is always something.

“We have not seen a single thing that suggests categorically that this aircraft is where they say it is, apart from this so-called electronic satellite ‘handshake’, which I question as well.” The plane that disappeared was a Boeing 777 and Emirates operates 127 such aircraft, more than any other airline. Sir Tim said he was suspicious of the fact that no-one seems to know where the plane ended up. “There hasn’t been one over-water incident in the history of civil aviation – apart from Amelia Earhart in 1939 – that has not been at least 5 or 10% trackable. “But MH370 has simply disappeared. For me, that raises a degree of suspicion. I’m totally dissatisfied with what has been coming out of all of this,” he told the magazine. Sir Tim called for more transparency in the investigation.

He said: “There is plenty of information out there, which we need to be far more forthright, transparent and candid about. “Every single second of that flight needs to be examined up until it, theoretically, ended up in the Indian Ocean – for which they still haven’t found a trace, not even a seat cushion.” Australian Danica Weeks lost her husband Paul on the flight. In response to the comments from the respected airline chief she told Channel 9 news: “He’s the man in the know so why aren’t they talking to us? And what is all the silence about?” Earlier this week the Australian Transportation Safety Bureau (ATSB) said latest analysis suggested the Malaysia Airlines flight went into a slow left turn and spiralled into the Indian Ocean when its fuel ran out. An interim report pointed investigators towards the southern section the current search zone.

Ebola death toll crosses 4,000 as UN special envoy calls for greater resources

Deputy UN Secretary-General Jan Eliasson

More than 4,000 people have died in the Ebola epidemic that broke out in West Africa at the start of the year, according to the latest figures released by the World Health Organisation. The WHO said on Friday that as of October 8, 4,033 people have died of Ebola out of a total of 8,399 registered cases in seven countries. The last toll put the figures at 3,865 dead from 8,033 cases. The seven affected countries are split into two groups by WHO. The first includes Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone – by far the worst-affected countries. The second group consists of Nigeria, Senegal, Spain and US, which have seen a small number of highly isolated cases.

Latest figure put at 4,033 as UN special envoy calls for greater resources and effort to battle epidemic in West Africa.

Liberia is the worst-hit of all, with 4,076 cases and 2,316 deaths, followed by Sierra Leone with 2,950 cases and 930 deaths. Guinea, where the epidemic originated in December, has seen 1,350 cases and 778 deaths. Health workers continue to pay a heavy price for their efforts, with 233 deaths out of 416 cases across the countries. Nigeria has now been declared Ebola-free and its toll remains unchanged at eight dead from 20 cases. There has been one death in the US and one case contracted in Spain. The toll remains unchanged in Senegal with one case. In the Democratic Republic of Congo, hit by a separate strain of Ebola from the one raging in West Africa, WHO says there have been 71 cases and 43 deaths up to October 7.

The UN special envoy on Ebola said on Friday that the number of cases was probably doubling every three-to-four weeks and the response needed to be 20 times greater than it was at the beginning of October. David Nabarro told the UN General Assembly that without the mass mobilisation of the world to support the affected countries in West Africa, “it will be impossible to get this disease quickly under control, and the world will have to live with the Ebola virus forever”. Separately, Jan Eliasson, UN deputy secretary-general, said catching up with “the menacing exponential curve of the virus” demands a massive increase in financial resources, medical staff and equipment. “I now appeal to all member states to act generously and swiftly,” he said. “Speed is of the essence. A contribution within days is more important than a larger contribution within weeks,” Eliasson said.
