A MINUTE’S applause were held at Celtic Park on Wednesday in tribute to a Scotland fan who fell to his death at Celtic Park against the Republic of  Ireland on Friday 15th. As Scotland and England prepared to play a friendly match, the scene of both Scottish and English players and fans giving a minutes applaud for the life of the kid who died and out of respect for the 20 year kid’s family. He went to a game of Football and died, he won’t come home. So tragic

Nathan McSeveney fell from a stairwell at Parkhead. The 20-year-old was taken to hospital in Glasgow and later died from his injuries. Scotland hosted England in a friendly on Wednesday and the national team and Tartan Army will pay tribute to the Ayrshire man. Stewart Regan, SFA chief executive, said: “We have all been extremely saddened by the dreadful news since it was relayed to us after the game on Friday”

“The Scottish FA intends paid its own respects and we believe it was fitting that Nathan’s fellow Scotland supporters have an opportunity to pay tribute to one of their own at Celtic Park.”
