Bono and Yoko Ono dedicate Ellis Island tapestry to honor John Lennon – video


#AceMediaNews – July.30: U2’s Bono and The Edge along with Yoko Ono unveiled the tapestry inside the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration on Thursday.

Commissioned by Art for Amnesty founder and chair Bill Shipsey in appreciation for giving Amnesty the rights to record cover versions of Lennon’s post-Beatles songs, it shows Manhattan as a submarine with Lennon as its pilot, holding up a peace sign.
