WWIII is on the Horizon – More Counties at War today than in WWII!

Anonymous-Knowledge-is-Free-Expect-Us By @ShaunyNews – I remember a few years back now I mentioned ‘Anonymous’ on my Facebook wall. I am always way ahead of most people I know in terms of alternative news, not that Anon are alternative these days, most people with a set of eyes can see they exist as a hive with no real Queen bee. I am disabled with Fibromyalgia and a sibling of mine said “Have you taken extra medication tonight” then proceeded to laugh at me, their name will remain between me and them, but I often think back to that moment, as the years go past I guess I get a little more peeved at the remark. A person who is blood mocking me in-front of everyone, well I guess the last laugh is on me in more ways than one, this person I love but are as stubborn as a mule.

Anonymous – World War III is on the Horizon
Via World United Anonymous on You Tube

Anyway Anonymous are real, they exist, I know many people who call themselves “Anon” but to define the movement you must first understand how it works. There is no top brass. Anonymous, like a few other movements and people have been saying for a while now WWIII is very close, the pieces of the puzzle are in place and it is close. I have wrote about it a few times now https://acenewsdesk.wordpress.com/?s=WWIII WWIII won’t be a War of Nuclear bombs I don’t think, it will be economic with the sideshow of American owned and run Al Qaeda and ISIS in there also, Ukraine is a melting pot, thousands are dying weekly all over the World. I ask “How many Countries were involved in WWII” The answer of course is easy, 61 countries. Today in 2015 out of 162 countries, 151 of the world’s nations are currently involved in some form of conflict, meaning only 11 countries have peace as I write this.

So look at it objectively and we see and know in WWII 61 Countries were involved. We look today and 151 Countries are either in/at or in Civil War, I think it is fair to say “World War 3” has begun guys. Many will dismiss and play out their groundhog existence scared to even think of this notion, I am able to read it, accept it but turn the internet off and not worry, there is nothing ANYONE can really do, 11 Countries are at peace today with the rest involved in War in some way

Participants in World War II

Britain did not fight alone, the war also involved many countries. World War II involved 61 countries with 1.7 billion people (three quarters of the world’s population). Fifty million people lost their lives and hundreds of millions people were injured.

‘Blair may face war crimes charges’ – Liberal Democrat peer

Well Well Well

Well Well Well

By @ShaunyNews Via http://rt.com/uk/220539-blair-war-crimes-iraq/ and my own words and other links

Well for many a year we the people have asked the question “Should Tony Blair be charged with War Crimes” and we must add in GWB fron the US of A. These 2 committed crimes that nobody gave them permission to do. They went ahead and invaded Iraq when the entire planet was pleading and demonstrating they shouldn’t. There was a movie about what may happen here in the video below. I think they, Blair and Bush should be tried for an illegal war. Lets see where this one goes. Watch this space. More to come

The Trial Of Tony Blair
Via Slyfox [King of Fools] Channel 1 and Channel 4 UK on You Tube

Tony Blair may face war crimes charges arising from the findings of a public inquiry into the role Britain played in the 2003 Iraq war, the House of Lords has been informed. Lord Dykes of Harrow Weald, a Liberal Democrat peer, claimed the publication of the long-awaited findings of Sir John Chilcot’s inquiry into the Iraq war had been delayed to drag out the anguish of the ex-Labour Prime Minister. Speaking in the House of Lords on Tuesday, Dykes said the continued delay of Chilcot’s report was an“utter and total disgrace.” “More and more people think it is some kind of attempt to prolong the agony for Mr Blair facing possible war crimes charges,” he added.

At one time, Blair was one of Britain’s most popular prime ministers. But in the wake of damning allegations stemming from the 8-year war that blackened his political legacy, the former prime minister turned Middle East Envoy and business consultant is reviled by many in the UK. Reflecting on Britain’s war in Iraq, Blair recently told Vanity Fair the invasion that he and US President George W. Bush pushed for was followed by a “long and hard and brutal and bloody” battle that was far more difficult than anyone had anticipated. He insisted the problems that currently plague Iraq are “huge,” and denied they have been aggravated by the brutal war his administration presided over.

Former British Foreign Secretary Lord Douglas Hurd

Former British Foreign Secretary Lord Douglas Hurd

Lord Douglas Hurd, who held the position of Conservative foreign secretary between 1989 and 1995, warned on Tuesday the Chilcot report’s delay was no longer related to “mere negligence” and had become “a scandal.” Addressing the House of Lords, Hurd said the delay of the report – which was originally due to be published three years ago – now held alarming national implications.

A national scandal

The last official public hearing relating to the Chilcot inquiry occurred in February 2011. The primary reason for the delay in publishing the controversial probe’s findings was thought to have been related to conflict between the US State Department and Whitehall over declassifying confidential and potentially incendiary communications between Blair and then-US President Bush.

The communications in question related to the period prior to, during and after the Iraq war. On Tuesday, however, Lord Wallace of Saltaire confirmed negotiations over the publication of these conversations had come to a close. Wallace, a government minister and Cabinet office spokesman, said if Chilcot’s report wasn’t released before the end of February, it would not be publically disclosed until after May’s general election. He added the inquiry was independent of government and the report’s publication date was a matter for Sir John Chilcot, who headed the inquiry, to decide.

Sir John Chilcot

Sir John Chilcot

Wallace emphasized it would be inappropriate for the findings of Chilcot’s inquiry to surface in the immediate run-up to the general election because Gordon Brown’s government had previously committed to allow adequate time “for substantial consultation and debate of this enormous report when it is published.” The colossal one million-word document is expected to contain details relating to more than 200 Cabinet meeting discussions.

Lord Hurd heavily criticized the report’s extended delay, warning the British public deserves answers.“This is not something of trivial importance. It is something of which a large number of people in this country look anxiously for truth,” he said. But Lord Wallace responded, insisting such delays were “not usual” for an inquiry of this nature.

Referencing other delays in publishing similar reports, Wallace concluded the Chilcot inquiry examined nine years of British foreign policy as well as military operations in Iraq, so its length was not surprising.

Transparency concerns

Labour former Attorney General Lord Morris of Aberavon argued ex-PM Gordon Brown, who set up the inquiry, had pledged that all UK documents, excluding those that posed a risk to national security, would be released. Morris inquired whether Brown’s vow would be honored and demanded a concrete indication as to who would be responsible for presiding over the report’s publication parameters post May 15. Lord Wallace said all relevant documentation had been examined as part of the probe, and discussions regarding which documents should be made public had been completed.

These 2 committed acts of war that were not allowed. They did it for money and profit. They are going to get what is coming to them....

These 2 committed acts of war that were not allowed. They did it for money and profit. They are going to get what is coming to them….

In addition to US-UK tension over the publication of potentially inflammatory Bush-Blair conversations, a shortage of staff is thought to be central to the delay of Chilcot’s report. Speaking in the House of Lords, Wallace said Chilcot’s team lacked sufficient manpower to sift through the enormous piles of documents required. Draft reports of the Iraq war inquiry that surfaced in December rattled Britain’s establishment, with senior Whitehall figures battling to sanitize its findings. One well-informed source told the Times that the report’s findings are far more scathing than expected, and have prompted a legal firestorm in the heart of the British establishment.

McCain with the ISIS Leader. He did it in full front of the media. Let’s see where the story goes

By @ShaunyGibson – Used to be @ ShaunyNews

June 24th I did an article both on my old blog ShaunyNews and here on Ace News. I can only find the ShaunyNews one.

Now wait for this!

Now wait for this!

http://shaunynews.com/2014/06/24/photos-of-world-renounded-politician-seen-with-isis-leaders-in-syria-before-their-rampage-through-iraq/

Just the other day, US Senator John McCain said that “One of the key decisions the President is going to have to make is air power in Syria. We cannot give ISIS a base of operations.” McCain has been very outspoken against ISIS and that the president step up efforts to eradicate them. But this was not the case just one year ago. On the same day that the above photo was taken, hours earlier the photo below was taken as well. John McCain is seen talking intently with Ibrahim al-Badri, otherwise known as Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader and commander of the Islamic State in Iraq, otherwise known as ISIS.

ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, wearing the black shirt on the far left, is seen in deep discussions with John McCain. Within 12 short months of these photos being taken, al-Baghdadi would explode on the scene in 2014 as the leader of monstrous terror group ISIS. John McCain does not deny the existence of these photos, obviously, as he posted one to his own Twitter account. Click image to view this photo on his own Twitter page above. How do you feel as an American, never mind a McCain fan! This is one big stage, it’s a pantomime, many countries are involved, America fund ISIS/IS/Islamic State and we all know now 100% that the USA own’s and fund’s Al Qaeda, this has been proven many times.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, strong story he died, I am yet to be convinced. This isn't the same guy!

Go check John McCain's Twitter, these images are still there. Why did he meet IS/ISIS/Islamic State

Go check John McCain’s Twitter, these images are still there. Why did he meet IS/ISIS/Islamic State

Why is there no mention of this in the main stream media? Why is this story being buried? Did McCain help funnel money and weapons to al-Baghdadi after his secret meeting in 2013? Is ISIS a creation of the Pentagon? How did ISIS get so big so fast? Why is McCain saying “ISIS Need our help” then America go blow them to bits, or pretend to, depends what you believe. Look back to Donald Rumsfeld doing arms deals with Saddam Hussein, HISTORY REPEATING AMERICA!

18 Months I Warned You About ISIS, Time And Time Again, Fell on Deaf Ears – Now Look

These guys are NOT going to mess around.

These guys are NOT going to mess around

By Shaun Gibson : @ShaunyNews

What we are starting to see is ISIS/IS/Islamic State or whatever you want to call them coming through with a terrorising promise to the West. They told us they would behead people who are against them. We have had two beheading’s here in London, England (I am in Scotland if you don’t know) We have had a Terrorist try to kill Police officers with an AXE yesterday in New York https://acenewsdesk.wordpress.com/2014/10/24/new-york-police-officer-critically-wounded-in-hatchet-attack/ And of course the sad events in Canada.

Now I research HARD and I will leave you with 3 blogs I have copied to here you can read or scan through and also some links to other blogs I did on what is happening just now. With Ebola hitting the USA and ISIS shooting in Canada and the Axe Terrorist in New York, added to Lee Rigby who was the soldier beheaded in London, we have an enemy coming good on a promise. Where I am we are vigilant at ALL times. We had a terror attack in Glasgow Airport a few year back, we beat the crap out of them both, who were on fire while being beaten. I don’t think they will come to Scotland again, we fight back. That was almost a joke there, but to be fair this is no time for joking, the game has changed, the game is rigged, the plan is set in motion. I showed you ALL John McCain meeting ISIS. Why did he do that? https://acenewsdesk.wordpress.com/2014/06/25/photos-of-john-mccain-seen-with-isis-leaders-in-syria-before-their-rampage-through-iraq/ See I see a 1st World full of people who believe the nightly news like they do in God, and that is Dangerous! We need to think outside the box, put clues together, try and see the bigger picture. What I have done here is put the ‘Bigger Picture’ into one blog. USA and Canada, this, I believe, is just the start of an enemy you will fight in your own streets. Read and educate yourself or let it come and say “I can’t change a thing” One line that annoys me is “I can’t change a thing” How about coming together and looking after each other instead of being alone and in denial? I am just saying. For nearly 2 year, on my old blog and now AceNews and ShaunyNews I have warned and warned and warned bad was coming to the USA. I even told Canada what was coming. I don’t want a pat on the back for being right, far from it, I wish I was wrong. But mark my WORD! This is only going to get worse, a new World is about to hit us all. With Ebola and ISIS, our World is about to change, I think, in ways we can’t even imagine. We are fighting ISIS in Iraq and Syria with bombs but they are here, in our Countries and streets, how do we fight an enemy like that?

Iraqi ISIS Militants Threaten Revenge Attacks On USA Soil

https://acenewsdesk.wordpress.com/2014/08/19/iraqi-isis-militants-threaten-revenge-attacks-on-usa-soil/

cegrab-20140819-061055-139-1-522x293

Iraqi militants have threatened to respond to US airstrikes by attacking American targets, posting a video in which they warn: “We will drown all of you in blood”. The message, which was accompanied by photographs of beheadings, came as Barack Obama announced Kurdish peshmerga troops, supported by US jets, had recaptured the strategically important Mosul Dam. The US president said Islamic State (IS) fighters remained “a threat to Iraq and the entire region” and said Iraqis “must reject them and unite by pushing them out of lands they have occupied”. “They claim to represent Sunni grievances but they slaughter Sunni men, women and children,” he said, adding limited military missions would continue.

Unlike al Qaeda, IS has, to date, focused on seizing land in Iraq and Syria for its self-proclaimed caliphate, rather than attacking Western targets. Earlier, the group denied losing control of Mosul Dam, which supplies water and electricity to much of the country. It had been feared they would cut pipes and cables or blow up the structure, branded the “most dangerous in the world” by the US Army in 2007, causing huge loss of life and extensive damage along the Tigris valley.

Army spokesman Lt Gen Qassim al Moussawi said at least 170 bombs had been dismantled around the site but warned many more remain. Meanwhile, Sky News has gained exclusive access to suspected IS militants who were captured by Kurdish fighters. The trio are being held in a secret location, claiming they were tortured into making confessions. And IS militants killed dozens of Kurdish peshmerga fighters and captured 170 of them, a Twitter account that supports the group said

Mr Obama has authorised limited missions in Iraq

Mr Obama has authorised limited missions in Iraq

Iraq’s outgoing foreign minister Hoshiyar Zebari also said Kurdish officials would take part in negotiations on forming a new government, paving the way for improved ties between Kurds and the central administration. It came after David Cameron insisted Britain would not be dragged into another war in Iraq to fight what he called “monstrous” jihadists. He spoke out after it emerged the UK had briefly sent a number of ground troops to Irbil to prepare for a rescue mission to help displaced Yazidi people. A strongly worded statement followed confusion over Britain’s involvement in Iraq after a series of media interviews by senior ministers. “I want to be absolutely clear to you and to families watching at home. Britain is not going to get involved in another war in Iraq,” the Prime Minister said in a televised address. “We are not going to be putting boots on the ground. We are not going to be sending in the British Army.” Mr Cameron’s pledge followed comments by Defence Secretary Michael Fallon, who said the UK’s latest involvement in Iraq would likely last “weeks and months”. Mr Fallon had been addressing British troops in Cyprus, as it was revealed UK soldiers had been back on the ground in Iraq for the first time since 2009.

FBI, Homeland Security Bulletin Asks Police To Be Aware Of ISIS

ISIS THREATENS AMERICA AGAIN-“WE ARE IN YOUR STATES, CITIES AND STREETS”

BOSTON (CBS/AP) – Federal authorities sent a bulletin to U.S. law enforcement Friday in light of the threat concerning militants from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), according to CBS News. The bulletin from the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI cites no known threat to the U.S. homeland, but reminds law enforcement to be alert and aware of the ISIS threat, CBS reported. U.S. law enforcement has been intensifying efforts to identify Islamic State sympathizers who could help export the group’s brand of violent jihad to the United States. They come amid a new barrage of U.S. airstrikes against the Islamic State group that beheaded American journalist James Foley of Rochester, New Hampshire. The group called Foley’s killing revenge for previous strikes against militants in Iraq.

WBZ-TV security analyst Ed Davis says there’s no question the stakes have been raised by ISIS running from Syria through Iraq. “They’ve not only collected ransom from European countries for hostages but they’ve sacked several banks that have given them hundreds of millions of dollars,” Davis said. “When you see an organization that’s this well grounded in tactics also having the ability financially to move those plans forward it’s a very troubling time,” he added. Davis called the ISIS militants highly trained military people who know exactly what they’re doing.

Muslim Brotherhood has a ‘significant presence’ in Canada

http://shaunynews.com/2014/05/27/muslim-brotherhood-has-a-significant-presence-in-canada/

Muslim brotherhood members and ousted Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi supporters protest in July 2013 in Cairo, Egypt. The Broherhood is facing a crackdown in Egypt following Hersi ouster by the military.

TORONTO — The Muslim Brotherhood has established a “significant presence” in Canada, says a study released Tuesday that asks whether the government should follow the lead of the United Kingdom and launch an investigation into the group.

Calling the Brotherhood the “antithesis” of Canadian laws and values, the study urged Ottawa to deny public support and charity status to organizations aligned with the group, which promotes political Islam as an alternative to Western-style democracy.

The report is “intended to focus public attention on the requirement to have a national level discussion on the Muslim Brotherhood and its role in Canada,” said Tom Quiggin, the former Privy Council intelligence analyst who authored the study.

Mr. Quiggin, a court-recognized expert on terrorism, wrote the study without government or private funding. “Questions need to be raised about the accreditation, public funding and charity status of the organizations involved,” he said.

The Muslim Brotherhood was founded in the 1920s by the Egyptian cleric Hassan Al-Banna, whose writings were hostile to the West and envisioned its downfall, proposing instead a “world living under the tranquility of Islam.”

To achieve this, he called for reforms that included mandatory memorization of the Koran in schools, igniting “the spirit of Islamic jihad” in youths, censorship of music and films, and confiscation of books and newspapers.

Almost a century later, the Muslim Brotherhood is a controversial revivalist movement and political party in the Middle East. It is facing a crackdown in its home base, Egypt, following the ouster of Mohamed Hersi by the military.

Last month, British Prime Minister David Cameron ordered an investigation into the Brotherhood’s activities in the U.K. and alleged links to violence and extremism. In Canada, the government has not taken action directly against the Brotherhood.

“We are aware that the U.K. is doing a review on the MB. We will be determining any possible next steps in short order,” Adam Hodge, the spokesman for Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird, told the National Post on Monday.

baird hachimi kadi rectangle

A senior source at the Department of Foreign Affairs recently confirmed that the Canadian government gave $5.3 million to the Syrian opposition in 2012. According to the National Post, “the entire Canadian contribution was funnelled through the U.S. State Department.” Syrian opposition leader Hassan Hachimi told the National Post that the money was spent on communication equipment.

The report comes a month after Public Safety Minister Steven Blaney announced the International Relief Fund for the Afflicted and Needy — Canada (IRFAN) had been placed on Ottawa’s list of banned terrorist groups. According to the Canada Revenue Agency, IRFAN had merged with the Jerusalem Fund for Human Services, which was allegedly set up by a Muslim Brotherhood committee.

IRFAN had funnelled $15-million to groups linked to Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestinian branch, auditors claimed. IRFAN was a registered charity at the time but has since had its status revoked. The RCMP is investigating. IRFAN denies knowingly funding Hamas.

Ihsaan Gardee, executive director of the National Council of Canadian Muslims, declined to comment on what he called a “foreign political organization.” But he said the NCCM was not affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Writing in the Winnipeg Free Press on May 16, Mr. Gardee called an article about the Muslim Brotherhood co-authored by Mr. Quiggin a “conspiracy-laden diatribe that, in a sweeping stroke, smeared our long-standing Canadian organization as ‘terrorists’ and despicably suggested we intend to destroy Canada from within.”

hachimi photo snc post meeting

Mr. Quiggin’s report lists several other Canadian organizations — some of them federally-regulated charities — that he says are aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood. Key executives in some of them have left Canada to take positions with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and Syria, he writes.

“The government of Canada may wish to pursue a wider investigation into the activities of the Muslim Brotherhood with a particular focus on its activities in Canada and the USA. Cooperation or information sharing with the proposed investigation in the United Kingdom may be useful,” the report says.

Such a probe should examine which Canadian groups with Muslim Brotherhood affiliations have charity status and access to the government, it says. The Canada Border Services Agency may also want to screen foreign nationals for membership in the Brotherhood.

It also recommends the government consider requiring those advocating the spread of Muslim Brotherhood ideology to register as lobbyists. In addition, the report says charities receiving funding from overseas should be required to publicly report the sources of their foreign donations.

UK purchases 20 Tomahawk missiles ahead of ISIS operation – Slapping our poor in the face

A Tomahawk cruise missile is launched against ISIS targets from the a U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyer in the Red Sea September 23, 2014

By Shaun Gibson : @ShaunyNews

A complete slap in the face of the people of the UK this is. While food banks (Below) go up and public sector cuts are on the rise, Westminster ‘somehow’ find money for war. I do believe IS/ISIS need to be hit and hit hard, but the facts are, the USA and UK created IS/ISIS by destroying Iraq that was a functioning country, Libya that was working for it’s people. I know people from both countries, now places these radicals live, grow and kill are. Had we left well alone we would not have to clean up the mess. Maybe one day soon the people of this World will realise War = Money. Go research the Rothschild and Halliburton and sit down when you do, you won’t believe the truth that will be there waiting

In preparation to join the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militant group, the United Kingdom has purchased 20 Tomahawk missiles from the United States, the Daily Mail reported on Friday. The $32-million transaction comes after a majority of British MPs voted in favor of joining U.S.-led efforts against the militant group, namely in the form of airstrikes in Iraq. Tomahawk missiles, fired from submarines and can turn around a corner upon a computer command, have been used by the U.S. and Arab states in their bombardment of ISIS. The missiles can hover around above a target for more than two hours and can be retargeted while in flight, the Mail said, adding that the newly-acquired weaponry will be used by the British army in Operation Shader.

While the strikes are limited to ISIS targets in Iraq, Operation Shader will be directed from a bunker in the al-Udeid airbase in Qatar where it will be linked directly to U.S. Central Command. Targets will be drawn from a list compiled by the U.S. military but the Royal Air Force will also survey the ground for mobile ISIS units prior to issuance of orders to strike. British Special Forces units known as Smash teams have already conducted reconnaissance to provide up-to-date information on the militants, the Mail said.

Beyond the air strikes

British forces will reportedly use a technique called ‘painting a target’ in which a site is pinpointed to be struck using a laser beam from a portable device that bounces off a structure a few hundred meters away detected by an aircraft or a missile sensor which deploys the weapon. Operation Shader will also make use of Tornados, warplanes flown by the RAF will also fly Tornados in both Gulf Wars and Afghanistan, and will carry Paveway bombs for small targets, Storm Shadow bunker busters and supersonic Brimstone missiles capable of targeting and hitting moving objects like cars or motorbikes.

ENTIRE LEADERSHIP OF ISIS OPPOSITION WIPED OUT BY ‘UNEXPLAINED’ EXPLOSION

AaS-Screengrab-Bomb

Well it looks likes ISIS/IS have been given a huge helping hand to take over Syria pushing Assad to the South west of his country. This is a big thing for ‘The thing for the new Islamic State’ in reality this just allowed ISIS or whoever they call themselves these days time and space to get bigger. I did this article here a while back https://acenewsdesk.wordpress.com/2014/07/01/isis-leader-calls-on-every-muslim-to-go-to-the-territory-in-a-hitleresque-speech-the-world-cant-ignore/ asked for all who sided with them to come to “The Territory” My thinking, with John McCain meeting the heads of ISIS were “SET UP” Get them all there and bomb them, job done, go home and bob’s your Uncle. Well it hasn’t went this way at all. And ISIS gave a map of  where they hope to take, very similar to Hitler. Links at the bottom of the page to this and McCain speaking to ISIS/Islamic State, I am unsure if these guys killed were the ones the USA were supposed be arming with Weapons, and not for free, so what gives? I smell a RAT!

Nearly fifty senior commanders of a major coalition of Islamic ‘moderates’ opposed to ISIS in Syria have been killed by an explosion at their secret command bunker as they met to discuss strategy against the the Islamic State.

The blast in the Northwest region of Idlib, Syria on Tuesday killed senior members of rebel group the Ahrar-al-Sham brigade (AaS), including leader Hassan Abboud and 45 others including senior members from other rebel alliance groups, reports The Times. The Idlib region stands in AaS territory, but it is close to the front-line with ISIS in neighbouring Aleppo.

Sources dispute the source of the blast, with it being unclear whether it was an opposition group, suicide bomber, or accidental explosion at a nearby ammunition dump. Regardless, the incident will destabilise and possibly tear apart the AaS group and associated Islamic Front Coalition which was recently described as “the most powerful armed group in Syria”. Islamic group Ahrar-al-Sham, whose name translates as ‘The Free Men of Syria’, is one of many movements competing in the inter-rebel conflict in Syria. A number of rebel groups are presently fighting each other as well as besieged Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, whose power base is in West and South-West, for overall control of the Region.

As the main rival to ISIS for control of Syria, the AaS blast if not orchestrated by the Islamic State will certainly be greatly beneficial to them. The ‘decapitation’ strategy, targeting Ahrar-al-Sham’s political, military and spiritual leadership is reminiscent of the United States’ targeted strikes against the leadership of Al-Qaeda. The death of Abboud and his followers in Idlib highlights the difficulty of Western involvement in the conflict, where enemies of the apparent first enemy ISIS also make fairly poor potential allies. Many members of AaS have come from groups like Al-Qaeda and would in any other context be considered hard line Islamists.

The Ahrar-al-Sham brigade has also been extremely critical of Western involvement in the conflict. In an interview before his death leader Abboud rejected the Geneva peace conference saying: “We see Geneva as a tool of manipulation; to derail the Syrian revolution away from its goals and objectives …. Whatever outcome the conference may yield, will be binding on the Syrian National Coalition only. For us, we will continue to fight for our revolution until we restore our rights”. Ahrar-al-Sham has appointed a new leader, Hashim al-Sheikh, who will attempt to hold together the fragile coalition which has lost most of its senior thinkers and strategists. al-Sheik said the attack “will only make us more resilient to fight and continue the fight until we liberate our homeland” on Wednesday.

This happened a few days ago, you may or may not know about it. I have had my head buried in the Pro-Scotland movement  https://acenewsdesk.wordpress.com/?s=Scotland

WE KNEW ANYWAY, THIS PROVES IT FURTHER

Thanks to Scott Mccarthy-Punzano for re-sharing this so I spotted it

https://acenewsdesk.wordpress.com/?s=Conspiracy Being classed as a “Conspiracist” can be somewhat annoying at times, but it is just people looking for the truth. I believe man landed on the moon, I don’t believe little green men visit the Earth in space ships. I do though understand our World is ruled by a 1% that has more money than the other 99%. The “Conspiracies” are hard to sell sometimes, SO! When we get proof, we share it. Now what I am sharing here is PROOF Westminster lied about the Iraq War that left a working, cultural, normal country in the hands of Terrorists. I know people from Iraq and Libya through life and football, they say “It is not perfect but we live like you” So for me, Iraq and Libya worked as a Country for the people there as our’s does here, be you in the UK, USA or anywhere. The UK and USA knew for 100% fact there were NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION IN IRAQ BEFORE BOMBING IT TO HELL.. I work with facts and the truth always. Many times people overlook it. I would love to hear someone try and call my bluff on this one and call me a liar! This is 100% proof, but we already knew right? Blood for Oil anyone? WAKE UP!

Iraqi ISIS Militants Threaten Revenge Attacks On USA Soil

cegrab-20140819-061055-139-1-522x293

Iraq Militants ‘Kill Hundreds And Take Families’

More than 400 Yazidi men have been killed and their families abducted by militants in northern Iraq, local officials have said. A senior official at the Ministry of Peshmerga, in the Kurdish-controlled region of the country, told Sky News women and children had been seized by fighters from Islamic State (IS), also known as Islamic State In Iraq and Syria (ISIS), and taken to Tal Afar, near Mosul. The men from the village of Kocho were reportedly killed over two days – 82 on Friday and another 312 on Saturday.  Earlier, Yazidi fighter Mohsen Tawwal told AFP by telephone that he had seen a large number of bodies after entering the village.

“We made it into a part of Kocho village, where residents were under siege, but we were too late,” he said. “There were corpses everywhere. We only managed to get two people out alive. The rest had all been killed.” Thousands of Yazidis – people from a minority sect with an ancient religion – have been forced to flee their homes by the IS advance across northern Iraq. IS has swept across a large part of northern and central Iraq, seizing Mosul and threatening Baghdad and the Kurdish capital Irbil.

On Saturday, airstrikes targeted the group around Mosul Dam. IS seized the dam, Iraq’s largest, on August 7. The Ministry of Defence said it deployed a US-made spy plane over the north of the country to monitor the humanitarian crisis and the movements of IS fighters. The converted Boeing KC-135 tanker – called a Rivet Joint – is monitoring mobile phone calls and other communications. Two British planes landed in the Kurdish regional capital Irbil on Saturday, carrying humanitarian supplies. Iraq’s human rights minister Mohammed Shia al Sudani said militants had killed at least 500 members of the Yazidi community. Some of the victims, including women and children, were buried alive, he added. Some 1.5 million people have been displaced by the fighting since the IS advance began in June.

It comes after the UN Security Council blacklisted six Islamist  militants on Friday and threatened sanctions against anyone who helped arm or supply them.

US jets strike near Iraq’s largest dam

US aircraft have launched air strikes near Iraq’s largest dam, killing up to 15 fighters from the Islamic State group, Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported. Several air strikes hit Iraq’s north on Saturday, including in the besieged Sinjar Mountains, where fresh reports emerged of a “massacre” against residents belonging to the Yazidi religious minority. There were suggestions that the attack near the Mosul Dam was the beginning of a US military operation to help the Kurdish forces, Peshmerga, retake it from from the self-declared jihadists, who captured it earlier this month and thereby gained control over the water and electricity supply in the north of the country. “We understand from our Peshmerga sources on the ground that they are also trying to push in. As the US bombs these positions, the Kurdish forces are trying to retake territory lost to the Islamic State,” Al Jazeera’s Zeina Khodr, reporting from Irbil, the capital of Kurdish regional government said. The Islamic State, an al-Qaeda splinter group, has in the recent months seized swaths of territory in Iraq and Syria and declared a caliphate. Its swift push to the borders of Iraq’s autonomous ethnic Kurdish region and towards Baghdad prompted President Barack Obama to authorise air strikes on the group’s strongholds earlier this month. Since then, US military aircraft have carried out several bombings and air-dropped food and water to help tens of thousands of civilians fleeing the fighters’ advance.

New ‘massacre’

In one of the most dramatic chapters of the conflict, the fighters stormed the Sinjar area of northwestern Iraq earlier this month prompting tens of thousands of people, many of them Yazidis, to flee. Kurdish fighters on the ground and US air strikes eventually helped most of those trapped to escape after more than 10 days under siege, but some remain in the mountains. On Saturday reports emerged of the killing of about 80 of those who were left behind. “We have information from multiple sources, in the region and through intelligence, that [on Friday] afternoon, a convoy of [Islamic State] armed men entered this village [Kocho],” senior Iraqi official Hoshyar Zebari told the AFP news agency. “They took their revenge on its inhabitants, who happened to be mostly Yazidis who did not flee their homes,” Zebari said, referring to a religious community regarded as heretics by jihadists. “They committed a massacre against the people,” he said. “Around 80 of them have been killed”. Mohsen Tawwal, a Yazidi fighter, told AFP by telephone that he saw a large number of bodies in the village. “We made it into a part of Kocho village, where residents were under siege, but we were too late,” he said.”There were corpses everywhere. We only managed to get two people out alive. The rest had all been killed.”
