By @ShaunyNewsVia: 3 link at foot of article: Just spotted this from yesterday in New York. Black protesters targeted white people eating brunch today at New York City restaurants. They joined hands and screamed at white patrons. One “white woman” was brought to tears. “ATTN WHITE Man, I have no guilt disturbing your brunch. Its YOU that has no right to be here. #blackbrunchnyc” The protesters stormed the restaurants and harassed staff and patrons. I have said many times when the US media say “A Black kid was shot today” in the news they are keeping race simmering below the surface. Here a year ago, a kid died of a heart complaint in my City Edinburgh. Not once did any media say anything other than “The kid” Lets hope this isn’t the slow start of the exact opposite that the USA went through

“HAPPENING NOW #BlackBrunchNYC disrupting bourgeois brunch & white peoples complacency to black genocide. Follow @QuePasaApaza 4 livetweets!”

“Right now black&brown folks disrupting business as usual AKA white complacency w/ genocide & response largely disrespectful #BlackBrunchNYC”

“One white woman was weeping into her brunch #BlackBrunchNYC #BlackLivesMatter”

Of course, the protesters claim they don’t have the power to be racist.

UPDATE: At least one person was brought to tears.

Ferguson protesters stormed the police headquarters in down town St. Louis today. They were going to hold a sit-in protest for four-and-a-half hours until they were maced and cuffed. Police broke out the pepper spray. They have demands, I managed to get a few documents, more when I have it on this developing story

This photo was taken before they were maced and cuffed.

Protesters stormed the doors of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department headquarters Wednesday morning. Their plan is to occupy the department for four and a half hours. About 15 protesters were in the lobby and refused to leave until their demands were met. They also handed police an ‘Eviction Notice.’ The unhinged protesters taped demands on the police department windows.

Protesters In St. Louis Neighborhood Shut Down Major Roads, Call For Justice

yjtdBy @ShaunyGibson – Used to be @ ShaunyNews

ST. LOUIS — A couple hundred protesters marched in the Shaw neighborhood of St. Louis on Sunday night to remember two black men who were shot to death by white police officers in the past few months.

“Black lives matter!” the crowd chanted, as they held hands and blocked traffic at the intersection of Kingshighway Boulevard and Manchester Avenue. Protesters recalled the deaths of Michael Brown, an unarmed teenager who was shot by Ferguson, Missouri, police officer Darren Wilson on Aug. 9, and Vonderrit Myers, a teenager who was shot eight times by an off-duty St. Louis police officer in the Shaw neighborhood on Oct. 8.

Demonstrators stopped several times during the march, and even blocked a major intersection for four and a half minutes to symbolize the almost four and a half hours Brown’s body lay on the street before it was taken to the morgue. Police arrived not long after the march began, and they blocked off streets for the remainder of the event. No arrests were made.

After the march ended, several members of the community came together for a prayer, reminding one another to stay safe and act peacefully after the release of the grand jury decision regarding Wilson, which is expected soon. Linda Tirado, author of a blog post on poverty that went viral last year and the book “Hand To Mouth,” also came out Sunday night to support the community’s call to end police violence. “If you can come here, you should come here,” Tirado told The Huffington Post about the protests. “That is what we do as Americans, when we see someone’s civil liberties be violated, we stand up and say we can’t do that, and that’s what’s happening.”
