Often when we hear a story it makes no sense at all, this one is no different. I had a bad few days with my Fibromyalgia flaring up over the weekend I missed all of this live. Only now as I look at what happened and came across this story. I have tried HARD to research about his family. The official line is he was suffering depression and took his own life. Now it can be easy to see a story in a light nobody else does, it makes NO SENSE! Why would the guy running the show via the police commit suicide in the middle of all this. I think we can say this is ‘Suspicious’ to say the least. As the dust settles from this week’s terror extravaganza in France, more loose ends are turning up (or being tied up), with this latest bizarre bombshell which is already fueling speculation as to the covert nature of the Charlie Hebdo false flag affair. A police commissioner from Limoges, France, Helric Fredou, aged 45, turned up dead from a gun shot to the head on Thursday amid the Charlie Hebdo affair. A high-ranking official within the French law enforcement command-and-control structure, Fredou was also a former deputy director of the regional police service.

At the time of his death, police claim to have not known the reason for his alleged suicide. This was reflected in their official statements to the media: “It is unknown at this time the reasons forhis actions”. However, a back story appears to have been inserted simultaneously, most likely from the very same police media liaisons, who then told the press that Fredou was ‘depressed and overworked’. For any law enforcement officer in France, it would seem rather odd that anyone would want to miss the biggest single terror event in the century, or history in the making, as it were.

Even more bizarrely, an almost identical event took place just over one year earlier, November 2013 in Limoges, when the number 3 ranked SRPJ officer had killed himself in similar circumstances, with his weapon in the police hotel. Allegedly, his colleague discovered his body. The prosecution ruled that case was a suicide too, and the police officer had left a suicide note to his family in which he expressed “personal reasons” for his surprising action.

Police commissioner Helric Fredou, who had been investigating the attack on the French weekly satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, committed suicide in his office. The incident occurred in Limoges, the administrative capital of the Limousin region in west-central France, on Thursday night, local media France 3 reports. Helric Fredou, 45, suffered from ‘depression’ and experienced ‘burn out’ [according to the official statement]. Shortly before committing suicide, he met with the family of a victim of the Charlie Hebdo attack and killed himself preparing the report. Fredou began his career in 1997 as a police officer at the regional office of the judicial police of Versailles. Later he returned to Limoges, his hometown. Since 2012 he had been the deputy director of the regional police service.

“We are all shocked. Nobody was ready for such developments”, a representative of the local police union told reporters. On January 7, 2015, two gunmen burst into the editorial office of Charlie Hebdo magazine, known for issuing cartoons, ridiculing Islam. The [suspected] attackers, later identified as brothers Said and Cherif Kouachi, killed 12 people and injured 11, and escaped from the scene. Following two days of nationwide manhunt, the suspects were killed on Friday by French police some 20 miles northeast of Paris.

lgbt2bwiki2bworld2I have spoken to people, mainly real confused American people who actually think being lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender, [LGBT] is choice, like Leelah Alcorn, kids, confused kids and Adults being driven to suicide because of  the ‘American Religious Way’ In the 1st World, the developed world in my society it just is not an issue, I live in Scotland, statistics are always England and Wales, Scotland has different laws, rules and ways, it’s a problem, but we help, I have friends who are Gay, Transgender and bisexual, I have known many since School, it’s the way they were made, God made them born to be normal, society calls them ‘Different’, we live and let live. Westboro Baptist Church said “Scotland deserved tragedy because we allow fags” I am acutely aware ‘Fags’ is a bad word in America, here in the UK this word means ‘Cigarette’ not gay. So sorry I had to use this word. To all the angry, unhappy, gossiping, nasty religious people, kind of like Westboro Baptist in a way, how do you feel knowing your beliefs kill people? The suicide of a transgender teen from Ohio — who wrote an anguished note pleading, “Fix society” before walking into the path of a truck — has struck a chord across the country. Others who have transitioned from one gender to another took to Twitter to post their stories under the hashtag #RealLiveTransAdult. An advocacy group called for a national effort to ban “conversion therapy.” And an online petition calling for the teen’s family to use her chosen name on her tombstone has gathered 35,000 signatures.

The death of 17-year-old Leelah Alcorn, who was called Joshua by her family, also highlighted the high suicide rate in the transgender community. Advocates say 40 percent of trans youth report attempting to take their life at some point, although data is limited.

“Suicide attempts are higher for trans youth because they face high rates of discrimination, rejection, fear and hatred than other youth,” said David W. Bond, a clinical social worker who is vice president of programs for the suicide-prevention group The Trevor Project. “These youth are trying to understand and build their identities in a world that tells them they are wrong for who they are.”

In a posting on her Tumblr account, verified by NBC News, Alcorn said her parents did not accept her identification as a female and she felt shunned by the world at large. “Either I live the rest of my life as a lonely man who wishes he were a woman or I live my life as a lonelier woman who hates herself. There’s no winning. There’s no way out. I’m sad enough already, I don’t need my life to get any worse,” Alcorn wrote. “People say ‘it gets better’ but that isn’t true in my case. It gets worse. Each day I get worse.”

Early Sunday, Alcorn left home in Kings Mills and walked in front of a tractor trailer on Interstate 71. The Warren County coroner is waiting for toxicology results before issuing a cause of death, but lead investigator Doyle Burke told NBC News, “It’s going to be ruled a suicide.”

Alcorn’s parents did not return phone calls Wednesday. A minister at the church where her wake and funeral service will be held said in an email that he could not comment. “Our focus right now is to help a family broken by tragedy to grieve and heal,” Tim Tripp of Northeast Church of Christ said. In the suicide note, Alcorn said she had felt like a girl trapped in a boy’s body since she was four but did not learn what transgender was until she was 14. She came out to her parents, who took her to Christian therapists and denied permission for transitioning treatment, she wrote.

A friend who worked with Alcorn at the Kings Island amusement park last summer said she didn’t agree with the parents’ reaction — or the vitriol heaped on them after the note went viral. “They did what they thought was right and it’s very difficult to actually put ourselves in the situation. They lost a child,” said Azalea Laverde, 16. “We need to stop harassing them and focus on bringing awareness and promoting equality to transgenders.”

Laverde said she called Alcorn Josh until about a month ago, when she came out as transgender. “I told her, ‘I’m proud of you for telling me, and I support you 100 percent,'” she said. “She never told me how depressed she was.” Alcorn said in her note that she wanted her belongings sold and the money donated to transgender rights and support groups, and she begged for change in the way her community is treated.

“My death needs to mean something. My death needs to be counted in the number of transgender people who commit suicide this year,” she wrote. “I want someone to look at that number and say ‘that’s f—ed up’ and fix it. Fix society. Please.” Bond said he was concerned that the attention Alcorn’s death received could have negative repercussions.

“Many people think it’s going to spread awareness,” he said. “But an enormous challenge is that contagion is very real in suicide. We don’t want to send the message that being trans means being suicidal or that if you take your own life the world will respond to you in this way.”

In the year 2014 I would hope this agenda in the #LGBT community would go away. We are more informed now as a species. Some actually think a ‘Gay Gene’ exists. Let me be clear here ‘THERE IS NO GAY GENE’ People are born to be attracted to the opposite sex. There are no drugs to make Gay go away, there isn’t an operation either. I sit and shake my head in sadness when I see this in the first world. I know in the 2nd and 3rd world these things happen but in 2014 UK for this to be an issue, I am astounded R.I.P to the poor lad, all the wanted was his Mum to love him.

Harley Street GP Nazim Mahmood died on July 30, when he threw himself off the balcony of his fourth-storey £700,000 West Hampstead apartment. The 34-year-old had been with fiancé Matthew Ogston for 13 years.
St Pancras Coroners’ Court heard today that just days before he died, Dr Mahmood had come out to his Muslim mother after years of secrecy – only for her to urge him to seek a “cure”. According to the Evening Standard, Mr Ogston told the inquest: “She had suggested to him he needed to see a psychiatrist to see if he could be cured. Together I think they agreed they would get through it.
“Telling someone they needed to be cured would not be the easiest thing to take.” The coroner’s court was told that Dr Mahmood had taken mephedrone and ketamine before he died, and was naked when he jumped off the balcony.
Coroner Mary Hassell said: “It seems incredible that a young man with so much going for him could have taken his own life. But what I’ve heard is that he had one great sadness which was the difficulty his family had in accepting his sexuality. “It seems desperately sad that in 2014 a person should feel that they can’t be accepted because of the way that they live and I can only feel the deepest sympathy for Nazim that he felt so sad and desperate about this that he took his life.”
Scotland Yard previously apologised after his body was left lying on the pavement for hours with only a thin blanket to cover him. Fiancé Matthew Ogston is planning to start a foundation in his partner’s name.

Earlier today I did this blog https://acenewsdesk.wordpress.com/2014/12/12/taboo-series-suicide/ and I posted it on my Fibromyalgia and any Chronic issue Facebook page for us all to discuss Chronic Illness, things that don’t kill you, they kill your spirit if you let it. I seen this here and I MUST share this page with YOU who have chronic pain or Fibromyalgia or any or any other “Can’t kill you” chronic Condition here> http://www.cfidsselfhelp.org/library/killing-me-softly-fmcfs-suicide Links and as much info on the “Devils Disease” as I could throw together. Not till I started my Group on Facebook for Chronic Pain/Fibro/Depression, anything Chronic, did I understand the level of suffering in others…

…..I AM NOT ALONE, AS I AM MADE TO FEEL BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. But hey, that is no happy feeling. Reassuring maybe? Our biggest challenge as sufferers is almost impossible to the point we just say ‘Feck it’ and give up. I don’t want to give up on family/friends who don’t like ‘New Shaun’ because to me they are ‘New Them’ it is totally a 2 way street. I notice people look at me as if I am screwing the Government for money, facts are I receive not ONE PENNY from the Government. The only message I want to get through to my loved ones is “This is why I am in bed, this is why I am in a lot, this is why I don’t visit” and once we get past that we can all smile, love, have fun and move the FECK ON! I speak for many (And I tagged a few in here when posting) when I say this, all we want is UNDERSTANDING. Then we can all move on, simple really. But we see things that may not be there, we feel things that may not be there. But to define this is to define Fibro. Fibro is new, not many people know about it, not many who live in pain know they have it. STRESS = PAIN as well as other things with Fibro/CPS, I know in America for example you guys pay for EVERYTHING and that is wrong. Here in Scotland EVERYTHING Health related is free. Now Scotland has greater powers it will only get better. Seeing your Dr is Free, All your Medication is free, Hospital visits be them arranged or not are free, X-Rays and ALL operations are free. I could not survive in a country anywhere where the stress of not knowing all of the above was covered so it must be murder for you guys. My heart goes out to you all

On August 15, 1996, Dr. Jack Kevorkian reportedly assisted in the suicide of Judith Curren, 42, of Pembroke, Massachusetts. She suffered from chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and fibromyalgia (FM). Jan Murphy, another FM sufferer, also turned to Kevorkian for help; ABCNews.com later reported her assisted suicide in the summer of 1997. A recently publicized investigation in the UK revealed that just last year, Julia Revill, age 58, hanged herself outside her family home after becoming frustrated at a lack of medical help for her Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME). ME is the name used abroad for chronic fatigue syndrome. She had shown some improvement after treatment at the UK’s only ME hospital in Essex but had been refused funding by the local health authority for further treatment there, and her condition deteriorated. The loss of “one of our own” always hits hard. These and other reports sent shock waves through the FM/CFS community. Patients with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome have an exquisite understanding of the pain, both physical pain and emotional anguish, associated with having a poorly understood, incurable disease. “When you start hearing there is no hope, no treatment, and no cure over and over, you lose your will to fight,” wrote Jan Murphy in a eulogy read at her funeral. “What most people saw of me was a shell of what was going on inside.” The FM/CFS community is certainly not alone in addressing the problem of suicide. Each year, about 30,000 people in the United States take their own lives. It is the 11th leading cause of death in our country and accounts for about 1.5% of all deaths in the US.

Suicide and FM/CFS

It is unclear whether there is an increased risk of suicide among FM/CFS patients, as compared to the general population. In 2006, Leonard Jason and colleagues published a study analyzing a memorial list maintained by the National CFIDS Foundation. They reported that suicide was one of the three leading causes of death in the sample, along with heart disease and cancer. The researchers noted several limitations to the study, including uncertainty about whether the list was representative of people with CFS and concluded “clearly, it is not possible to generalize the data from this memorial list to the overall population of patients with CFS.”

However, there is evidence that chronic pain and illness put patients at risk for suicide. An illness like fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome, which is often doubted or neglected by the medical community, the public, and sometimes family and friends, can present unique problems. Patients with FM/CFS can become victims of isolation and despair. Secondary depression is a well-known symptom of FM/CFS and is common with any type of chronic pain. Sufferers depend on a variety of sources of support, including pain management, psychological support, and financial support. When one of these essential needs remains unmet over a long period of time, it is possible for patients to begin to believe that their situation is hopeless. In fact, a recent report published by Action for ME, a UK non-profit organization, revealed that 51% of survey respondents have felt suicidal as a result of their illness. Those with the most severe cases of the illness and who received delayed diagnosis and management were most likely to have considered suicide.

Martha Ainsworth, founder and director of Metanoia, a non-profit organization dedicated to suicide prevention, describes the problem of suicide succinctly. She writes, “Suicide happens when pain exceeds resources for coping with pain.” There are many kinds of pain that may lead to suicide, and individuals vary greatly in their capacity to withstand pain. According to Ainsworth, you can survive suicidal feelings if you do either of two things: (1) find a way to reduce your pain, or (2) find a way to increase your coping resources. Both are possible. It is important to realize that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. The Journal of the American Medical Association has reported that 95% of all suicides occur at the peak of a depressive episode. For many people who feel suicidal, there seems to be no other way out. But suicidal thoughts are typically a reflection of distorted thinking caused by severe depression or even by the neurological changes associated with FM/CFS itself. Warning Signs of Suicide

  • Talking or joking about suicide or statements about being reunited with a deceased loved one

  • Making statements about hopelessness, helplessness, or worthlessness (“Life is useless” or “Everyone would be better off without me.”)

  • Preoccupation with death (recurrent death themes in music, literature, or drawings)

  • Appearing suddenly happier or calmer

  • Loss of interest in things one cares about

  • Unusual visiting or calling people one cares about (saying good-byes)

  • Giving possessions away, making arrangements, or settling one’s affairs

  • Self-destructive or risk-taking behavior (alcohol/drug abuse, reckless driving, self-injury or mutilation)

Most people who once thought about killing themselves are now glad to be alive. They say they didn’t want to end their lives – they just wanted to stop the pain. According to Dr. William Collinge, Ph.D., author of several books including Recovering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, “If you can remind yourself that the suicidal thoughts or feelings are transitory and symptomatic of the illness, this will help you get through those times when you are in the bottom of the pits and can’t see any way out. Also, talking about your feelings with a confidant or loved one can help immeasurably.”Experts agree that talking about suicidal feelings is one of the most important things you can do. Talking to a caring and supportive friend or family member can be helpful, and there are a variety of helplines and support groups to whom people who are feeling suicidal can reach out. Severe depression, the primary cause of suicide, is highly treatable. If depression is recognized and treated, many suicides can be prevented. Anyone who has suffered with fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome knows that it requires a huge adjustment, not only to the illness itself but to all the consequences it has on our lives. Chronic illness is likely to affect the way sufferers live, the way they see themselves, and how they relate to others. With the present state of world events, many people are feeling additional tension, anxiety, or sadness. But suffering with severe depression may be unnecessary. If you or someone you know is having thoughts of suicide, it’s essential that you know you don’t have to go it alone. Suicide is preventable, and there are a variety of resources that can provide the support you need.

Taboo Series – Suicide

As part of my ‘Taboo’ series I am going to talk about things in life people don’t want to talk about. Suicide is something that has hit many of us, be it a family member or a friend. I had a VERY close family try it a few years back, the person was ok. They came to my house a few days later, we hugged and cried. I jokingly said “Stay away from medicine cabinet” and we laughed. Maybe this is just the Scottish way, I don’t know, I have never left this Island.

I asked  the person ‘Why’ The reply was not what I expected. They smiled at me and said “It felt right, I felt ok, I felt comforted by something” And that was hard to take. I expected a disturbed warped mind out of control for life. But no, the person never tried it again, for a time we all worried they would but over time we relaxed about it. When I say this person was close, it’s a person I have known from birth who I look to as Super Human, a person you just wouldn’t think would do this. I have lived through several suicides in my 41 years from family and friends and people I knew through people. And the question we have is ‘Why’ I hope the comment the person above gave me gives others peace of mind if they have lost someone to suicide. It seems to always be the people we NEVER would have thought would do this, that do it. The strongest people, the strongest willed people. Ever noticed this?

So how do we spot it? How do we acknowledge a person is suicidal? For me it is near impossible, people in my past and present who have committed suicide or tried were happy, they seemed fine, people always say this. But then we have people in Hospital to stop them taking their own life. People who just don’t see this World as a viable place to be any more. All I know is the hurt it leaves behind lasts a life time, but we get through it, we learn to understand a person’s state of mind. And we can say “They are at peace now” Many in religion will say “They go to hell” Well I don’t believe this at all, there is no proof hell exists, but there is proof love exists.

Many say ‘It’s the cowards way out’ I don’t know if I agree with that saying. Thinking about it must take the strongest will a human being can summoned up to do this deed. They must be so strong to go through with it. I often wonder when people do it is there regret. Maybe it was a cry for help gone wrong, they didn’t want to die, they wanted to tell the World something, their World

I have never tried to commit suicide but I was close twice and been there more times. This was when everything I had was taken from me due to disability, things just kept going, every day, week, year, even now I have lost a person so close to me, I have known since birth. I have lost that person due to MY DISABILITY, MY ISSUES, MY WAYS. I don’t sit and cry about it, see it takes two people to see there is a problem and two people to understand it needs fixed. Drugs an Alcohol sometimes play a part, this is something we all must understand also. Don’t PRESUME someone you love is ok, ASK!

Suicide is a huge Taboo and I guess it’s best it stays that way. But we all must look closer, we must pay attention more. Teachers in high Schools must help also, they must look. We must look at depressed family and friends and always ask “You ok?” We must also be ready to listen to people. If we stop and ask and that person is allowed to tell a story we may stop that person committing suicide. We all have a part to play in the most taboo subject there is. We must show love, we must care, we must try. But if it happens we can’t live in hurt, the person who left us made the decision, don’t regret for life, we all have reasons to keep living and moving forward. If we allow life to do so it will kick us to the floor and keep us there, so we fight, we stay strong, we at least try and most important WE TALK! Talk to people you KNOW that will listen to you, this is a must

Suicidal thoughts have left me now, I accepted my new reality, it is so sad many can’t. So please, if you look at someone now, tomorrow, whenever and you think “Could they?” Please talk to that person.

Scotland – We are NOT voting for SNP or any Politician, we are voting for Freedom and to stop deaths

Just to be sure Scotland, on September 18th this year, we are not voting for the SNP, Alex Salmond or ANY politician. The deal on this day is a simple YES/NO deal. The vote for any political party and manifestos happens in 2016. I have seen many people say ‘I am not voting yes because I don’t like Alex Salmond’ Well please, everyone who doesn’t know, On the 18th September we vote simply to free Scotland from a corrupt Union.

We vote for no more Austerity. Are we all clear on the Conservative parties Austerity cuts? Well the poor are paying for the mistakes of the rich. The bank bail outs and more. When the rich make mistakes, like the banks did, Government bailed them out, then we as a people pay for it by losing Benefits. You (YES YOU) Might be in a stable job now, you might have a good income, life might be brilliant. But just think for a second, what if you lost your job in a Scotland STILL in this corrupt Union? Can you trust the Conservative Party or the Labour Party to help you? The answer is no, I have seen many people lose jobs and go to the benefits office and in the end many have lost their home, some couples have divorced due to the strain.

I have seen badly disabled people, people like me, lose benefits through ATOS only to win back on appeal. I have heard and know a few where Disabled people have committed Suicide because they got the money they so badly needed taken from them, they seen no light at the end if the tunnel, they never even seen a tunnel, and gave in. This is the utter reality of Austerity cuts. They kill people, literally and in reality.

We must be 100% sure why we vote. Watching Braveheart and feeling patriotic IS NOT a reason for voting Yes. Liking to feel part of a criminal Union is no reason to vote NO. We all have our reasons. Many are telling me ‘I will vote no’ but have no valid reason to give, they are JUST VOTING NO. I have changed many from #NO to #YES as have many who are pro-active in trying to free Scotland from these two articles above and this blog as a whole. The way I see it Scotland is, if we can all change 1 person to vote #YES instead of #NO then we will all be having a party in our High Streets on the 19th September

Scotland, we know what a #NO vote means. It means more Austerity, more suicides, more hurt, more pain. And I say this not to scare you but to try and get you to stand in others shoes. This could be YOU, YES! YOU! Lose your job you are in trouble, Disability can hit you tomorrow, It happened to me. We all run into problems in life, Scotland I simply ask, CAN YOU TRUST WESTMINSTER. If the answer is #NO you MUST vote #YES. In the end we will all have a vote, we will all vote and if it’s a #NO, WE ARE DONE FOR. We will be punished and the danger of UKIP will be a real one. UKIP have said on record they will 100% dissolve our Scottish Parliament. Scotland will be on it’s own in a Union so corrupt and dangerous I would probably move away from Scotland in a #NO vote. UKIP are real and they exist and they are a danger. Labour are doing nothing. If it’s a #YES, in 2016 a free Scotland will then have a change to look at the manifestos of all the parties and have a GOVERNMENT WE VOTE FOR.

Scotland, we can’t say #NO. We have the chance to escape all the above. Wake up to a truth you maybe don’t want to see
